Espresso Gurus Pick: Prime Roast Coffee Company
Declared as the best coffee of New Hampshire, Prime Roast Coffee Company has come a long way in serving great coffee since 1993. The owner started the company with a little 12 kilo roaster and still brews quality coffee with it after such a long time. She has kept the business model simple with serving quality coffee with a smile. The café is all about creating positive memorable experiences for the customers throughout the day. It’s also the main reason why customers who come to Prime Roast want to go there again and again. Craft Quality, Happiness, Community building and thoughtful growth is the beacon of light for people working at Prime Roast. The location and building is pretty cool and a new coffee roaster has accentuated its popularity. It started small but now it has the capacity to deliver pretty darn good coffee to coffee lovers.

NH magazine has also already voted Prime Roast to be the best coffee in the state along with other media sources. Behind its success has been the vision and inspiration of the owner who started selling coffee in bulk out of her specialty kitchen store on Main Street in Keene.
It is the philosophy of the owner that if you want to make the right coffee then you have to start roasting it yourself first. So the owner did just that and bought a roaster and applied her cooking skills to previous knowledge of coffees she had sold. It’s no longer a kitchen store, claimed by the owner, with one-of-a-kind tables commissioned from local artists, skilled baristas and hunkered-down customers in the warmly lit, coffee-and-pastry fragrant café, down the block from her old shop.
Their best coffee is their signature dark roast by the name of Demon Roast which costs $14 for 12oz. They are known to roast more demon than all other coffees combined because it seems to have some loyal following for good reasons. So if dark is your thing then surely you cannot get enough of this roast. Another great coffee is their house blend by the name of Great Gulp which costs $13 for 12 oz. and is a balanced mix of Central American coffees. There is no particular time to drink this coffee and is enjoyable anytime of the day.
Prime Roast has done well to deliver as much wholesale coffee as it serves to its customer which is a confirmation of its quality.
