Well, coffee haters, your efforts to try and demonize coffee is coming to an end. As much as you love to try to find everything wrong about it, I’m here to tell you that coffee myths that have been around for years have now been debunked!

That’s right coffee lovers, you can now hold your heads high in knowing that those who have a vendetta against coffee for some reason, are totally wrong. Here are six common myths coffee haters love throwing in our faces that have now been overwhelmingly debunked!

Myth # 1 – Coffee Causes Dehydration (DEBUNKED!)

Well, coffee haters, read it and weep. There is no truth behind that claim. If you drink a moderate amount of your favorite java does not cause dehydration. In fact, the water in it adds to your daily fluid intake.

Myth #2 – Coffee Will Interfere With Your Workouts (DEBUNKED!)

Myth #5 – Coffee is Addictive (DEBUNKED!)

This one is probably the most popular among coffee haters! Of course, addictive is a word that can be used a lot and is often overused. Coffee haters would want us to believe that the caffeine in the coffee can be addictive like drugs and alcohol. This is false. Sure there might be a mild dependence on it, it absolutely has no similarities to being addicted to drugs and/or alcohol.

Myth #6 – Drinking Coffee During the Day Will Interfere With Your Sleep (DEBUNKED!)

This is yet another falsehood put out there for you to ponder by those darn coffee haters. You body takes about 4 to 5 hours to flush out the caffeine, so it should be all gone by bedtime. Unless you drink it all day or are extremely sensitive to caffeine, you should have no problems falling asleep at night. If you do, more than likely it’s not the coffee keeping you awake!

So, there you have it coffee lovers. Ignore the coffee haters and feel free to drink your coffee whenever and wherever you want without having to worry about people pointing their fingers at you and telling you that “You know coffee is a bad habit and is not good for right?” Just look them straight in the eyes, sip your coffee and smile knowing that they are wrong.
