Since then, his passion for coffee – and his collection of coffee gadgets – has grown significantly. As a trained scientist, he has left no stone unturned in his never-ending quest for the perfect cup of coffee. He’s spent countless hours perfecting his pour-over technique, debating the best way to compare grind quality, and debating whether Nicaraguan or Kenyan beans make the best cold brew.
He now prefers the Hario V60 and begins each day by hand grinding his coffee before enjoying a cup prepared with care and precision.
